Objectives

The aim of our project is to enable young people to understand the impacts of the climate crisis on food security and to gain knowledge and skills in sustainable agricultural practices and social entrepreneurship. Along with this goal, it is aimed for the participants to develop sensitivity towards environmental issues and adopt active citizenship roles. It is aimed for young people to develop sustainable business models and engage in social responsibility projects.

Activities

Training modules and seminars will be organized to provide information on climate crisis and food security issues. In addition, farm visits and practical workshops will be organized to experience sustainable agricultural practices. Participants will be offered social entrepreneurship trainings and encouraged to develop sustainable business models. Social responsibility projects will be implemented to raise community awareness and the information obtained will be shared through reports.

Impact

Among the expected outcomes of our project, first of all, it is envisaged that the knowledge levels of the participants on climate crisis and food security will increase significantly. In addition, it is aimed to turn the project ideas developed in the field of sustainable agricultural practices and social entrepreneurship into concrete outputs. Reports on the training processes, participant feedbacks and recommendations will be detailed and shared with relevant stakeholders.
