▶Objectives
INSPIRE seeks to: a. build the competence of adult educators/trainers to promote inclusive learning initiatives through creative methods/tools and methodologies such as storytelling and peer exchanges. b. foster arts and culture to promote a sense of belonging and social cohesion among people c. enhancing knowledge, awareness, and confidence of migrants in navigating local/EU democratic systems. d. increase policymakers’ awareness of the needs of migrants and challenges in ADU
▶Activities
INSPIRE will: a. implement trainings for educators to address biases and build competences to use arts, culture, peer exchange, storytelling and co-creation in education. b. provide opportunities for creative storytelling and artistic/cultural expression. c. use peer exchanges to drive active engagement and knowledge-building around local and EU democratic systems. d. co-create recommendations for stakeholders highlighting migrants’ needs and challenges for inclusion in ADU.
▶Impact
INSPIRE will build competence and develop resources for educators/trainers to foster arts and culture in ADU as well as drive reflection around biases, prejudices, cultural sensitivity, inclusion and democratic participation. It will foster the active engagement of migrants and encourage them to share their experiences through creative storytelling and peer exchanges. It will build a sense of belonging and provide recommendations for stakeholders to address migrants’ needs and challenges in ADU.
