Seniors to sport court, not to hospital
▶Summary
Through its activities, the project has achieved all of its predefined outputs:1. Methodology of leadership of movement activities and communication with the elderly in the field of sport / regular movement of seniors (hereinafter referred to as the Methodology, see Annex 1 of this report). The methodology is the result of sharing good practice among participating organizations. Handing over those activities that have brought the greatest impact to organizations over the past years. The organization discussed the following topics:- System support for senior movement / sport - this topic was rather marginal, interesting, but it showed the diversity of approach in the partner countries from the health insurance companies, the state and other key players. The applicant organization, on the basis of this information and experience from Germany, has begun to work very intensively with the General Health Insurance Company on the possibilities of supporting older people moving regularly.- Setting the conditions for sport / senior movement - this topic was quite important for an activity that has a competitive character. It is necessary to set the limits and the required performance so that they are not destructive for the elderly. These activities tend to motivate mainly senior men. Women usually do not need motivation through a competition. These limits are not part of the methodology, because there are already similar limits in all countries, but they are different, for example, to the Olympic Committee and similar organizations.- Health aspects of senior senior movement. The main topic and the main reason why to implement all the activities. The health aspect of motion is indisputable. It is stressed what is appropriate for the seniors and what is inappropriate. This is an important part of the methodology.- Presentation of regular movement towards senior. In this respect, it was mainly about the way in which the organization communicates with the seniors, how they reach them and with what success.- Communication of organizations with seniors and their "recruitment". The theme is closely related to the topic above. The key question of the project. The content of the methodology is tested by Senior Fitness, which ensures the effectiveness of procedures in the Central European region. The methodology clearly does not aim to be the only source of information for those who want to practice with seniors. The methodology is only to create a picture of what this activity involves and what needs to be addressed. It is a practice-proven "jumpbridge".2. An educational platform that provides a clear and unambiguous background for all those who engage in regular physical activity with seniors - www.fitseniors.eu. The platform is available in Czech, Polish, German and English. The platform content is:- Basic health information- Information about what to avoid when moving a senior- 30 videos of appropriate exercises for individual body parts and health complications with doctor comments. It was originally intended to be 35 videotapes. However, to ensure that we are of sufficient quality, we have proceeded to make videos from the beginning. Thanks to this change, we have recorded 30 and not 35 videos for time and money.- A link to the fb group that offers its members sharing and mutual support of MUDr. Miloš Matouš. This forum was originally part of the learning platform, but for the sake of economy and user friendliness, we decided to use the fb group for sharing experiences internally. This change has no effect on the project; on the contrary, we consider it an improvement because fb is a commonly used medium andis user-friendly.The platform is available at www.fitseniors.eu and is considered as Appendix 2 to this report. Both theese outcomes were tested on next project events and it´s clear that they work.
