MOVE Transfer

MOVE Transfer was a small collaborative partnership project among Sports Union of Slovenia, International Sport and Culture Association, BG BeActive and SportMalta. The goal was to exhange competences, know-how, skills and experiences among the project partners by transfering the Slovenian Best Practise "Healthy Clubs" model of Quality Mark to Bulgaria and Malta. The overall scope of the project was to encourage participation in sport and physical activity, especially by supporting the implementation of the EU Physical Activity Guidelines. Objectives of the project were:-share and develop the model “Healthy Club” through testing it in different countries and settings,-provide people and local communities in Slovenia, Bulgaria and Malta with quality and accessible PA/sport programs,-enable Healthy Club programs delivery via Sport Malta and BG Be Active,-create an international network of local clubs with the Healthy Club Quality Mark in Slovenia, Bulgaria and Malta,-support the international mobility and the development of volunteers, coaches, managers and staff of sport organisations (study visits, trainings and workshops) by sharing/developing good practices,-develop the Slovenian Healthy Club concept even further trough the feedback and reflections of the project, -improve the MOVE Transfer methodology.The project had two main focuses: -to foster organisational development and-capacity building by exchanging a good practice at international level and to develop competences, skills, knowledge and attitudes in people engaged in physical activity (such as trainers, coaches, staff of associations,....).SUS received valuable feedback from partners and had the chance to upgrade the model by learning from the international test. The primary purpose of the quality mark program called “Healthy Clubs” is to promote an organized, regular, professionally managed, properly structured recreational sport activities that takes place in clubs throughout the country. The quality mark “Healthy Club” can be obtained by sport organisations which offer well designed programmes, prepared for a specific group of users and led by qualified and licensed trainers. These sport organisations also tend to cooperate with health institutions in order to promote regular physical activities in their local environment.Sport organisations, certified with Healthy club Quality Mark had developed cooperation with different stakeholders active in different sectors, including public health, local public bodies, insurances, education and research, depending on the local situation. “Healthy Clubs” implemented a wide range of activities and engaging a wide range of groups, including people with disability, youngsters and seniors. The main outcomes produced by the project MOVE Transfer are implementation of Healthy Club quality mark model in Bulgaria and Malta, expanding Healtyh Clubs network on the international level, strengthening cooperation among project partnes and among stakeholders from different sectors, communication materials, website, awareness-raising activities, dissemination and promotional activities (online and offline), Move Transfer Healthy Clubs guidelines, Healthy Exercise ABC programme workshop, Healthy Diary and Healthy Exercise programme ABC – exercise cards available in English and Bulgarian language.
