Summary

Majority of planned activities within the project were conducted according to the plan. Changes that happened throughout the project realization did not have impact on project progress nor on quality of project results, project team successfully mitigated those situations. Changes are described in part of report “Changes in relation to application”. We have produced and published on FUNBALL web page all planned intellectual outputs:IO1: Research paper on sport’s program (for age 6-9 adequate) that encompasses volleyball fundamentals IO2: 35 weeks long FUN for volleyBALL subprogram - FUNdamentals (6-7yrs)IO3: 35 weeks long FUN for volleyBALL subprogram - Volleyball introduction (8-9yrs) IO4: Train The Trainer FUN for volleyBALL Handbook and IO5: Multimedia content for conducting FUN for volleyBALL programIO6: Scientific paper on effectiveness of FUN for volleyBALL program in age 6-9 on building solid and healthy sports and volleyball fundamentalsIntellectual outputs are result of work of project team members organized as follows:WP1: encompassed Project management, executed throughout the whole projectIn WP2 we have conducted research on sport’s programs (for age 6-9) that encompass volleyball fundamentals, to bring awareness on actual situation in partners’ countries and across EU. Identified good practices as well as not recommended practices are documented in IO1, the main outcome of WP2.Development of new training program (WP3->IO2 and WP4->IO3) is realized in WP3 and WP4:In WP3 we have developed new training program - FUNdamentals (6-7yrs). The first version of program was updated based on results/feedback information from WP6 - program evaluation (by partners’ coaches) and feedback gathering (from targeted group 6-7yrs). Same work was executed in WP4, but for bit older children (8-9yrs): new training program - Volleyball introduction.Based on developed program, OER materials (that should secure sustainability of project’s results after project ends) are prepared as well as program’s evaluation:In WP5 we have developed OER materials - TtT Handbook, comprised of textual part & links to multimedia content (with more than 400 video clips with exercises!). TtT Handbook is IO4, while multimedia content is IO5.In WP6 we have conducted research on the effectiveness of FUN for volleyBALL program (IO2&IO3) – this was quality control WP to secure high quality of project’s final outcomes: after the first versions of IO2&IO3 were finalized, research on its effectiveness started in form of program evaluation. This Research is IO6. Program was evaluated by partners’ coaches aiming for professional opinion about program and exercises, by methodological experts and children/project’s targeted groups (6-7yrs and 8-9yrs) to hear their opinion weather FUN for volleyBALL program’s targets are reached. Feedback gathered in this WP was used to improve IO2&IO3.WP7: Dissemination of project outputs was executed throughout the whole project while Multiplier Sport Events were organized in last quarter of the projects once all project outputs were ready for presentation to wide audience/all interested stakeholders. Multiplier Sport Events sessions were organized in form of train-the-trainer sessions targeting all interested stakeholders: from PE teachers to volleyball and other coaches.
