THE EUROPEAN GAME
▶Summary
“THE EUROPEAN GAME” was aimed to valorize the heritage of local tradition games. The practice of games and pre-sport games was an incentive to motion, to control body and emotions. During the practical workshops, the participants discovered their inclinations, developing attention and concentration on themselves. An other important aspect is that the traditional games teached them to have good interpersonal relations and to respect the rules. These type of activities gave to participants the possibility to develop their personality and, above all, to develop socialization: children learned to work in team, to help other peers, to discover others’ hidden qualities.The ludic and motion experiences allowed them to live a gratifying and positive situation which encouraged them to improve themself and their relation to world, while favouring the arise of their inner dynamisms leading to grow, to improve themself, to discover surrounding reality, to explore their limits and possibilities, by using European traditional games.
