The SPORTin - Sport for social inclusion project (thereafter โ Project) was a Small Collaborative Partnership which included 5 partners and lasted for 24 months (01/01/2019 โ 06/03/2021 as due to COVID-19 pandemic the Project was suspended from 27/04/2020 until 25/06/2020. The overall objective of the Project - to encourage social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport through development of international network of organization active in the field of sport and activities related to the social inclusion through sports. Target groups:-Coaches, trainers, instructors, facilitators, animators in the sport sector, managers and staff workers of organizations that carry out different types of sport and physical activities for young people. They had opportunity to increase their skill and abilities in management, coaching and leadership of specific social groups (youth, youth at the risk of social exclusion, and people with disabilities).-young people (age 12-19), who participated in various sport and physical activities planned during the projectIndirect target groups: local population and other organizations that could use the results of the project.Goals:1. To develop the International network of organizations active in the field of sport, resulting from the direct exchange of experience and good practise in the project and resulting in the real positive changes in the level of social inclusion through sport. 2. To develop the local Interinstitutional networks of institutions operating in the sphere of social care, youth work and sport organizations to ensure successful process of social inclusion through sports and physical activity.3. To elaborate the Digital Tool (DT) for social inclusion through sport which will be freely available and adoptable by other sport organizations.4. To improve skills of coaches, trainers and other staff of organizations active in the fields of sport, youth work and social care through the joint work on development of an innovative approach in order to use sport as a tool for social inclusion.5. To raise the level of social inclusion through sport. Active involvement of young people at risk into sport activities would prevent social exclusion; raise self-esteem, motivation for personal development.6. To promote and reinforce the vision os sport as a method for integration, social inclusion and raise awareness of its potential.The objective were reached through: 1. Creation of the International network of organizations active in sport and activities related to the social inclusion through sport.2. Creation of the local Interinstitutional network of organizations operating in the sphere of sport, youth and social care.3. Development of the Digital Tool (thereinafter โ DT) - innovative and attractive tool accessible on social networks and promoting sport and social inclusion thought and in sport. 4. The Training courses organized to improve the skills of teachers, coaches, trainers and other staff working with young people to works with young people at social risk. Exchange of good practices, promotion of an innovative approach (non-formal methods) in the sport sector.5. Active involvement of young people at social risk and risk of social exclusion into sport activities.
