Traditional Games are Meeting
▶Summary
Our project is an Erasmus+ Small Collaborative Partnership project called “Traditional Games Are Meeting”. Under the coordination of Kargenc Club (Turkey), the project was implemented with RSS (Croatia), BSDA (Bulgaria) and LECS (Romania) partners between 01/01/2019 and 31/12/2019.In the project, the most popular traditional games of 4 countries were discovered and shared with transnational meetings. During the process, organisations working with groups under the age of 18 were visited, and the games became widespread. With the workshops held in every country, the games were taught in accordance with the culture. In addition, the materials required for the games were primarily tried to be produced naturally, otherwise they were provided. Posters, penguins, brochures and various materials were used to attract local people to the game introduction events.Activities organised in each country also included dissemination activities. These activities were carried out by coaches responsible for the project and physical education teachers in clubs and schools.Indirectly, films prepared to promote traditional games at the end of the project were shown in each partner country and shared with provincial educational units, provincial sports departments, social media channels, websites, internet media, local televisions and newspapers. Our project has been provided to reach the appropriate target audience of traditional games that have been carried out in parallel with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Sport Program. The implementation process in our project has included improvements. This has been a convenience provided by flexible methodology. The biggest gain of our project is the feedback after the activities. These feedbacks are that the games in our project are actively played in summer camps and school activities, and the dissemination continues in the EU dimension after the project period. The continuing of indirect dissemination is one of our primary goals. All activities and outputs of our project are shared in our project facebook group.Facebook group link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Tra.GAMe/
