Background The project is a small collaborative partnership in the field of sport whose goal was to prevent the radicalisation of young people encouraging social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport. Comprehensive research provided the European state-of-the-art about current practices to prevent radicalisation in sport and through sport education as well as the grounds for conceiving a Training Format to be piloted locally. Objectives In this frame, two priorities appeared to be particularly relevant to the topic of radicalisation:-Prevention of and fight against violence and intolerance;-Social inclusion in and through sport.Radicalisation is often connected to hate speech and hate narratives. Therefore a great effort was put in preventive measures focusing on:-Helping young people overcome the taboo of extremism; -Challenging aggressive narratives; -Making personal relationships stronger than online contacts. Implementation The implementation phase was realised during WP 3, WP 4 and WP 5. The implementation encompassed the following activities:-Research and definition of the methodology-Selection and piloting activities-Awareness-raising activities and final conference Achievements Among the main results, the project partners realized:-Research on radicalisation and identification of best practices about countering radicalisation in and through sport.-Development of a training format to empower ambassadors in reaching out to young people using the Education Through Sport methodology.-Piloting of the training format with ambassadors at the local level (4 pilots in total).-Awareness-raising activities at the local level.-Final event hosted by MV International in Sa
