Background The proportion of physical inactivity of citizens in the EU remains unacceptably high. 42% of EU citizens do not exercise or play sport at all (2017). This might indicate that the message about the importance of sport and physical activity for an individual's health and wellbeing has still not got through to significant segments of the EU population. That is the main goal of the New Health project. Objectives I.Provide professionals with knowledge and tools to improve their healthy living pattern.II.Develop international standards (EQF Lower Level Standard (EQFLLS)).III.Develop, disseminate and implement a healthy lifestyle and a behaviour change education program.IV.Securing the prevention of doping-use at grass roots level.V.Enhance quality of European fitness & health professionals.VI.Giving volunteers/Lifestyle promotors the ability/knowledge to signpost to resources Implementation ●Desk research essential insights active living, healthy eating and health mindset●Development of lifestylescan and 7 languages (Dutch, English, French, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Spanish, Slovak) video courses●Develop a consumer and pro platform and app;●Execute pilot 150 professionals Healthy Lifestyle promotors●350 consumers with the program and lifestyle scan●Adding e.g. prevention of using doping on recreational level;●Develop education standards for Healthy Lifestyle Promotor; Achievements ●Research report●Education standards for Healthy Lifestyle Promoter;●Lifestylescan online and in the New Health app●4 courses: 1. Turning Point of Homo Sapiens, 2. Exercise as medicine, 3. Food as medicine, 4. Brain as medicine, in total 28 video series in 7 languages●Consumer and pro platform ●New Health toolbox with anti doping and Positive Health material●New Health app;●479 active professionals Healthy Lifestyle promotors●501 active consumers ●Dissemination report
