โ–ถSummary

Background The problem of bullying in sport, although underestimated, is very present. In Italy, according to "Telefono Azzurro" data, following a survey conducted with DOXA KIDS in 2017, 10% of the children interviewed among Italian school children were bullied in sports environments. The phenomenon is aggravated from the fact that 12% of adults believe that bullying has always existed and that it is not such a serious phenomenon ("il messaggero" -17 May 2018). Objectives The main objectives of the project were:-exchange good practices aimed at freeing sport from bullying phenomena and to use sport as an educational moment to defeat bullying.-create a European network of sports and non-profit organizations committed to the educational values of sport as tools to limit bullying phenomena.De-bullied sport is indeed a more inclusive sport. Implementation the implementation had a lifecycle of 24 months, with many downtimes due to the pandemic. Theinternational work took place with an international online kick-off meeting, 1 transnational meeting, and a closure one. In addition, there were many organizational meetings and mid-term evaluation meetings. At the end of the project, 37 young people have traveled for the international meetings, and more than 100 people were involved in various capacities in theproject Achievements The activities of this project have produced the following results:- Exchange of good practices carried out by the associations of the consortium and aimed at freeing sport from bullying phenomena (which can create phenomena of social exclusion and remove fragile people from sporting practice).- Promote the use of sport as a tool to help fight bullying and discrimination.- Create an active network on the international scene.
