Background Sports Activities for people with Downโ€™s Syndrome (SPADS) is a "Collaborative Partnerships" project which has the main objective of promoting social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport, through greater participation in sports activities by people with Downโ€™s Syndrome (DS).It involves 8 partners from 5 European countries: Italy, Romania, Spain, Hungary, United Kingdom. Objectives The specific objectives are:-promote the use of sport as a tool for the social inclusion of people with DS-raise awareness of the benefits of sport for people with down syndrome-Train operators to have greater awareness and adequate skills to use sport as a pedagogical tool-offer learning opportunities to young people who would increase their level of competence in relation to social inclusion through sport-sports promotion and incentive programs for people with DS Implementation Implementation phases:1.Preparation, Implementation, Management, coordination, monitoring and evaluation2.Survey on the knowledge of the integrated sports method and on sports methods for rehabilitation / social inclusion3.Development of course content4.Training and exchange of good practices5."Sport for Down" Guidelines6.E-learning platform7.Promotional and social inclusion sporting events8.Communication and dissemination Achievements Final results:-Survey on the current situation-"Sport for Down" Guidelines-E-learning platform for the training of educators and sports volunteers-"coach for people with DS" training diploma-Report on the application of the teaching method-Report on pilot project -Local training workshops-Awareness-raising events in 5 partner countries, with a final conference-Communication materials and activities-Dissemination activities
