Background The Project Autism Play Therapy for movement aims to : promote education in and through sport with special focus on skills development - of sport coaches, general school sport teachers, teachers from special education and inclusive schools; specialists in the field of autism spectrum disorders. The topic is social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport as a part of our local activities will be centered on this topic too. Objectives To develop the skills and competences of the members of the consortium and about 300 local teachers from special education and inclusive schools/specialists in the field of autism spectrum disorders; that will be trained in the methods of movement therapy and play during the entire period of the project. To produce educational materials - a curriculum for specialists. To promote the benefits of movement therapy and play for autistic children. Implementation Autism Spectrum Disorder is a common social problem in many European countries, with economic, political and social implications, and for this reason countries have to join forces. Due to this fact, our project come to create an intuitive curriculum in partner countries so that working together to offer a new and open resource for the coaches, physical education teachers and other specialists as well as the most important partners the parents of the children cu autism. Achievements at the European level, different organizations from different countries start a positive and productive effect of mutual influence, inspirations and push for a greater change, since the motivation that back up a transnational initiative is far more effective than a national one, because it brings a wider recognition and a new influence. Though our work we aim to tackle a large number of coaches, PE teacher, special education teachers in their work for better results.
