Women – new leader’s empowerment in sport and physical education industry
▶Summary
Background In order to support women in strongly man dominated sport industry new perception were needed, which would from early career days would develop and build confidence involving women in sport management activities. Therefore international NewMiracle project were initiated and hands-on sport management training program for women were crated and implemented to support and to empower them strategically use their strengths and abilities while mastering their collaborative mindset. Objectives This project focused on the priority to train and enhance the competences of women-new leaders in the areas of leadership within the sport industry by offering training program. As well as, presented insight and intelligence from mentors to support and counsel women as young professionals. Training program was formed according done research and transformed to the practical trainings based on acquisition of constructive skills and competences necessary to increase the capabilities and knowledge. Implementation The project implementation was disturbed regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and postponed Olympic events as well national restrictions for the international meetings which resulted changes of the arrangements between partners regarding the contend development and implementation and 6 months extension of the project. Nevertheless all planned activities of the NewMiracle were delivered and fully meet according proposal, ensuring high quality of the content creation and project execution. Achievements During the NewMiracle project curriculum, training materials and online networking platform were development, executed 16 national training session, as well as, performed 3 international workshops. NewMiracle project presented not only in media and international meetings but disseminated in the 5 academic conferences and 3 research papers according project results were developed as a foundation for the Knowledge, Competencies, and Skills needed for women in sport industry.
