Outdoor Sport in Nature for Healthy Lifestyles

Background SPIN project involved 4 partners from Italy, Spain, Croatia, Austria, each of them with his own character: Nautilus (ITA) is a grassrooth sport association from Pesaro, a little city in the Adriatic coast of center of Italy, La Hoya (SPA) is a social NGO located in Elche in the rural area of Alicante, AGRRA (CRO) is a public agency deputy to development of Zadar county rural area, Move To Be You (AUT) is a sport NGO from Wien. Objectives Project Partners developped a common strategy to:increase the number of people practicing outdoor sportsbetter promote grassroots sportsincrease participation of local stakeholdersbest practices research.PP had defined 4 hot topics to drive dissemination and involvement of local stakeholders:Outdoor bodyweight activitiesSkills development, how to learn by playing sportSport,tourism and public bodies, collaboration to create added valueEnvironmental impact and safety of sports facilities Implementation PP faced pandemic restriction in 2021 that lowered the number of participants to local events and activities and moved the scheduling to last months of the year. All TPM were held succesfully. Local seminars and workshops were done involving stakeholders as planned. Also multipliers sport events had been done but spread over multiple days due to limitations. Same spreading strategy was applied for Trial Event due to catastrophic meteorological event occurred in Italy in september 2022. Achievements SPIN encouraged local stakeholders networking from PP countries. TPMs involved local representative who met new people, exchange experiences, stimulates new ideas. Best practices research had created new relations and strengh the old one between PP and local stakeholders. Local promotional events contributed to developp communities expecially in rural and neighboors areas.
