Summary

Background Exercising and learning consist two of the most imperative activities extremely linked to a child’s growth and development. Hence, it is of urge importance for the modern world to be shaped in way that results in achieving the wanted outcomes regarding both a child’s body and brain upgrading under the umbrella of joy and tradition preservation.Elderly consist the basis for world growth and improvement, thus much of attention should also be given to them in order to achieve a balance community. Objectives The main objective of the current project was to offer added value and alter the current way of neighbourhood sporting in children’s gaming, by adding modifications based on the tradition of five European countries. Main scope of the project was to find the best combination between sporting and exercising under the scope of pleasure that occurs through traditional games and of learning through morals and customs that the traditional games illustrate. Implementation The project aimed at an interaction between the society and sport as it would use as reference the tradition, morals and especially old games that the elderly (or children’s parents) used to play. In this line of approach, human resources development would be extremely linked to sport through the project action. The participating organizations were the connecting link between the gathering of the traditional games (elderly, parents) and the transformation to the new games (children). Achievements The new games were shaped in an accessible way for every child to be possible to play with the main objectives of:•learning through tradition and promote European traditional sports and games•minimizing discrimination•eliminating the gap between generations•connecting children and elderly•offer joy to the elderly and motive for actionThe results was presented in a graphical user interface as an e-Handbook so for the user to easily choose, understand, learn and play the new games.
