Summary

The aim of the project is to develop methodology and tools, which will be used by people, who are supporting and supervising the sport activities of people with disabilities for monitoring the progress of their physical, cognitive and social abilities o generated by regular, supervised sport activities. Although there is no doubt that participation of people with disabilities in organized sport activities has several benefits in their physical social and cognitive development, persons (trainers, teachers, volunteers) working with people with disabilities do not document their activity. Documenting the process of sport activities of people with disabilities will generate several benefits • People with disabilities will get more benefits from participating in organized sport activities • Trainers, coaches and teachers of physical education will exchange their experience and good practice • Medical, social and cognitive science will use acquired data for analysis and development of therapy with sport Five organizations (from Croatia Italy, Bulgaria Spain, and Slovenia will participate in project Rijeka will coordinate project activities and pilot education. Palermo will develop Handbook for Trainers Bulgaria will coordinate dissemination activities University Murcia will lead Data collection and evaluation of project. IPAK institute be will responsible for development of web platform The main project activities will be: • 5 transnational project meeting • development of methodology and methods for monitoring the progress of people with disabilities involved in regular training • development of Handbook for Trainers, in which the methods and tools for monitoring the progress of participant’s in sport activities • development of Web platform for training and collection and sharing the experience • Organization of ten multiplier sort events (two in each participating countries). • Organization of pilot education in each country.
