โ–ถSummary

Background Each partner country starts from different cultures, histories and legislative frameworks on inclusion. There is also a comparison between urban and rural contexts, mountain and seaside resorts. The 4 member countries want to implement the professional and human skills of their staff and stakeholders already matured previously. In 2021, the Covid 19 pandemic limited face-to-face activities, but the partners looked for existing good practices, a source of stimulus for 2022 activities. Objectives Through the involvement of public and private actors of the territory with transversal skills, the culture of sporting activity is increased for a better quality of health and life, pursuing local and European welfare policies. The informative-training activities of the seminars, TPM, etc., have opened a dialogue between the stakeholders on the critical issues and potential of the system, on the possibility of learning about new methodologies and making them replicable. Implementation The project reached: sports federations and associations, universities with sociological studies, public administrations, rural bodies, associations and single parents, day and residential services for the disabled, etc. Plurality of actors with transversal and complementary skills, for a 360ยฐ approach to the person and to inclusive sport. The collection of good practices allows for an exchange and awareness-raising both among member countries and at a local level. Achievements Interesting private and public realities have emerged: sports clubs, Third Sector entities, Social Services, which through SPOT training-information have understood the importance of synergy for the integration of people with special needs. Furthermore, in certain contexts the actions experimented with Spot will be formalized in collaboration agreements with local social services, to guarantee continuity in the interventions and a greater and shared taking charge of people.
